The stock demonstration places an exception next to the normal operating states. The fictional Control module has a negative quantity and an Attention status. This is not a recommendation to permit negative inventory; it gives a reviewer a concrete discrepancy to investigate while available, reserved and reorder records remain distinguishable.
A live implementation needs item and location identifiers, an authoritative movement ledger, correction permissions and reconciliation. Sale, reservation, return and stock adjustment are different events. A POS connection also needs verified device and tender behaviour; no payment or hardware compatibility is claimed by this interface.
Evaluate the complete normal, exception and recovery path with permitted test records. Confirm the responsible owner and the evidence needed for acceptance. A polished demonstration does not replace those checks or establish a completed delivery.
